Welcome to Aloha Paddle Club’s Tulum Adventure Tour!
Are you ready for an unforgettable experience in the beautiful paradise of Tulum? Join us for a tour that combines adventure, history, and nature. Our tour starts with a convenient pick-up from your hotel or resort in a private car or van.
We will drive to the Tulum Ruins, where our certified guide(s) will lead the group through the ancient Mayan city. You’ll learn about the history and culture of this fascinating civilization as we explore the well-preserved ruins.
After the tour, we will drive to the famous Tulum beach to organize a boat to sail on the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. Depending on the group size we might need to wait for the boat to have enough passengers, max. 40 minutes. We normally don’t have to wait too long and besides that, it is a great moment to enjoy the beautiful Tulum beach and sea.
As we cruise along the coast, you’ll have the opportunity to see the Tulum Ruins from a unique perspective and take some unique photos. Our guides will point out interesting landmarks and share stories about the area.
But the adventure doesn’t end there! We will stop at a prime snorkeling spot where you can swim with sea turtles, rays, and a variety of colorful fish. Our guides will provide all the necessary equipment and ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable snorkeling experience.
Once we’ve worked up an appetite, we will head back to shore and on the way back stop for some delicious and authentic tacos. You’ll get to taste the flavors of Mexico and indulge in some of the country’s most iconic cuisine.

8:00 AM: Embark on the Journey! (We’ll whisk you away at 8:00 AM sharp, ensuring an early start for a day packed with adventure.)
9:00 AM: Step into History! Begin your exploration of the Tulum ruins with a knowledgeable and certified guide, delving into the secrets of this ancient Mayan city.
11:00 AM: Taste the Tradition! Indulge in a mouthwatering taco break, savoring the flavors of authentic Mexican cuisine to fuel your next escapade.
12:00 PM: Dive into the Azure! Arrive at Tulum beach and gear up for a snorkeling tour with our expert guides. Depending on availability, we’ll set sail promptly or soak in the sun for a maximum of 40 minutes.
2:30 PM: Surface to Serenity! Conclude your snorkeling adventure, emerging from the crystal-clear waters with memories to last a lifetime.
3:00 PM: Journey’s End! Begin your return to Playa, reflecting on the day’s discoveries and adventures. Enjoying a cold soft drink or beer.
4:00 PM: Return to Tranquility! Arrive back at your hotel or resort, where you can unwind and reminisce about the day’s unforgettable experiences.

Here are some of the most common questions we get asked when clients book our tours.
If you have a question or concern that is not answered here, please contact us directly.
Since all our tours are private tours, we can start at your preferred time. We normally choose to start early to beat the crowds. In general pick up will be between 7 and 8 am.
All our private tours include private transportation, so we can pick you up in your hotel or resort.
We will need your room number plus the name on te reservation.
Yes, technically anyone can do our tours, although when there is walking and swimming involved you probably know best who can and can’t do the tour.
- Paddleboarding in the lagoon can involve some medium paddling effort depending on the wind. Our instructor can always assist you.
- Paddleboarding in the cenote in general is pretty calm.
- Snorkel tours are for all levels, but can be a bit of a swim if the wind picks up. We can discuss prior to your tour whether it’s possible for you to do.
We can provide life jackets for people who don’t know how to swim, or who are not comfortable in the water.
- For snorkel tours in the sea, depending on the conditions we can decide on the spot if it’s suitable for someone yes or no. We also will always try to communicate with you about weather conditions prior to your activity date.
- For paddleboard tours, it shouldn’t be a problem since you can stay on the board.
In case of bad weather, we can decide to either reschedule or cancel and refund you. We will always try to let you know in advance if we can’t do it, but on occasion we will need to decide on the spot. In general, (light) rain is not a valid reason to cancel. We will cancel if we can’t guarantee your safety or you having a fun time: storm, lightning and heavy wind are good reasons to cancel.
If for some reason you are running late, please let us know asap by phone or WhatsApp. We will always reach out to you before the tour to check in with you. If you are late, it could mean that we need to take this off of the time we have for the tour, depending on how late you are.
If for some reason we are late, or if there is a lot of traffic on the road, we will make sure that this doesn’t affect the time that we calculated for the various tour options.
We provide you with drinks and snacks during the tour. Most tours we also include our faoprite tacos.
All you need to bring is a towel, bathing suit, dry clothes, any sun protection like sun glasses, caps, rash guard etc. Remember, most of our tours we can’t allow the use of sunscreen not to harm the ecosystem. We will always bring some eco friendly sunscreen in case you need some for your face.
Bring money for extra purchases and for tips, which is always highly appreciated here in the Riviera Maya.
Our cancellation policy applies to all private tours and for all cancellations and no shows. Please take a minute to take note of them.
FOR OUR PRIVATE TOURS:
You will get a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before your activity or tour date and time. If you cancel after that, there is a 50% refund.
Same day cancellations or no shows unfortunately there will be no refund.
